craftycorner

The plan is create a cosy area with sofas etc where people can come and make things! We hope to run continuous drop-in sessions / mini workshops. So far we have:
-Origami
-Embroidery
-Crocheting
-Knitting
-Yarn bombing
-Rag-rug making – tbc
-Badge making – tbc
-Junk fashion workshop will be continuous up until the fashion show – we need people to sit in the area and just help / encourage the public in making outfits.

We will organise anyone else who would like to run something in the crafty corner and try to come up with a rough timetable of what to expect. Anyone who is interested please send us the following to info@forbiddenartsmanchester.org.uk:
-Short description of the craft.
-What materials are needed – will you be able to provide these?
-What day / time would you like to run your mini-workshop / drop-in session?

It was suggested we could work towards making a garden with animals etc out of the creations – possibility of linking up with the kids area?
